Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and friends. I hope the holiday was great. I took my boys to Napa (where I grew up) and we enjoyed the amazing fall colors while the boys collected chunks of obsidian from the dirt across the road. Cool!

Feeling Blocked

I've finally started a new painting! Maybe it's the end of being blocked. I hate to even say "blocked" because it's not like I had a lack of ideas. I just keep censoring everything.

What if it doesn't turn out like I envision it?

Who's gonna buy this?

Should I do a series?

Sheesh! It's enough to kill the creativity before it can even hatch.

Fall Color

Isn't this just the greatest photo? And I'm not even a photographer. This was taken in Napa near my parents' home. If I remember correctly, it was shot on Thanksgiving day. So, if you're looking for some fall color on the West Coast, head to Napa.

I think I need to paint this.
